Surah Luqman, Ayah 18-19
وَلَا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا... وَاقْصِدْ فِي مَشْيِكَ وَاغْضُضْ مِن صَوْتِكَ ۚ إِنَّ أَنكَرَ الْأَصْوَاتِ لَصَوْتُ الْحَمِيرِ
Do not turn your cheek in contempt toward people, nor walk upon the earth arrogantly... Be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys.
لوگوں سے منہ نہ موڑو اور زمین میں اکڑ کر نہ چلو... اپنی چال میں میانہ روی اختیار کرو اور اپنی آواز پست رکھو۔ بے شک سب سے بری آواز گدھوں کی آواز ہے۔
