Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 155-156

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ ۝ الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, Who, when disaster strikes them, say, 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.'

اور ہم ضرور تمہیں کچھ خوف اور بھوک اور مال و جان اور پھلوں کی کمی سے آزمائیں گے۔ اور صبر کرنے والوں کو خوشخبری دے دو، جو جب ان پر کوئی مصیبت آتی ہے تو کہتے ہیں، 'بے شک ہم اللہ کے ہیں اور بے شک ہم اسی کی طرف لوٹنے والے ہیں۔'
