Al-Ma'idah Verse 48

وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمُهَيْمِنًا عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ عَمَّا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ

— Surah Al-Ma'idah, Ayah 48

And We have revealed to you the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion thereof. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth.

اور ہم نے تمہارے پاس حق کے ساتھ یہ کتاب نازل کی ہے، جو اس سے پہلے کی کتابوں کی تصدیق کرتی ہے اور ان کا نگران ہے۔ پس ان کے درمیان اس سے فیصلہ کرو جو اللہ نے نازل کیا ہے، اور اپنی خواہشات کی پیروی نہ کرو اس حق سے جو تمہارے پاس آیا۔
