Al-Baqarah Verse 216

Trust in Allah · Hidden Good · Limited Perception

وَعَسَىٰ أَن تَكْرَهُوا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَعَسَىٰ أَن تُحِبُّوا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

— Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 216

Perhaps you dislike a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah knows, while you know not.

ممکن ہے تم کسی چیز کو ناپسند کرو حالانکہ وہ تمہارے لیے بہتر ہو، اور ممکن ہے تم کسی چیز کو پسند کرو حالانکہ وہ تمہارے لیے بری ہو۔ اللہ جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتے۔
