Surah Al-Hujurat, Verse 6
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن جَاءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوا أَنْ تُصِيبُوا قَوْمًا بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِمِينَ
"O you who have believed, if a sinful person comes to you with news, verify, lest you harm people in ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful."

اے ایمان والو! اگر کوئی فاسق تمہارے پاس کوئی خبر لائے تو تحقیق کر لیا کرو، کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ تم نادانی میں کسی قوم کو نقصان پہنچا بیٹھو، پھر اپنے کیے پر پچھتانے لگو۔
