"You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help."

ہم صرف تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور صرف تجھ ہی سے مدد مانگتے ہیں۔

Explanation

This verse establishes the core principle of Islamic monotheism: that worship and seeking help are directed solely to Allah. It emphasizes the direct relationship between the believer and Allah, without intermediaries. The verse teaches us to rely on Allah in all matters while fulfilling our duty to worship Him alone. It represents the essence of the Islamic concept of Tawhid (Divine Unity) in both belief and practice.

Context

This verse is from Surah Al-Fatiha, the opening chapter of the Quran, which Muslims recite in every unit of their daily prayers. It establishes the fundamental relationship between humans and their Creator and is considered one of the most important verses for daily spiritual practice.
