"And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace."

And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace.

It presents a beautiful portrait of the believer who combines inner strength with outward gentleness and who responds to provocation with peace rather than aggression.
