This verse provides guidance for the balance between worship and worldly activities. After completing the Friday prayer, believers are encouraged to return to their normal activities and seek Allah's bounty through lawful work and trade. However, the verse emphasizes that worldly engagement should not lead to forgetting Allah - believers should remember Allah frequently even while engaged in business and daily activities. The combination of seeking livelihood and maintaining remembrance of Allah represents the Islamic ideal of integrating spiritual consciousness with practical life. Success (falah) comes from this balanced approach that honors both spiritual and material responsibilities.
