وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ

This verse is Allah's direct testimony about the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) exceptional character. The word "khuluq" refers to moral character, disposition, and natural behavior patterns. Allah Himself bears witness that the Prophet possessed the highest level of moral excellence. This verse serves multiple purposes: it defends the Prophet against his critics, establishes him as the perfect role model for humanity, and emphasizes the importance of good character in Islam. For believers, this verse highlights that following the Prophet's example in character and conduct is following the path approved by Allah. It also teaches that true greatness lies not in wealth or power, but in moral excellence and beautiful character.
