Surah Al-Hijr, Verse 49
نَبِّئْ عِبَادِي أَنِّي أَنَا الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
"[Allah said], "Inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful.""
[Allah said], "Inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful."
(اللہ نے فرمایا) میرے بندوں کو بتا دو کہ میں ہی بخشنے والا مہربان ہوں۔
Explanation
Allah instructs the Prophet to convey His names Al-Ghafoor and Ar-Raheem—hope and mercy for every repentant servant.
Context
Reassurance to the servants after mention of punishment for the wrongdoers.
