This verse describes how Allah has "subjected" or "harnessed" (sakhkhara) everything in the heavens and earth for human benefit. This includes natural laws, resources, celestial bodies, weather patterns, plants, animals, and countless other systems that work together to support human life. The phrase "all from Him" emphasizes that these are gifts from Allah, not random occurrences or human achievements. The verse concludes that thoughtful people can see divine signs in this arrangement. This teaches that the entire universe is designed to serve humanity, that recognizing Allah's gifts should inspire gratitude and responsibility, that careful observation of nature reveals Allah's wisdom and care, and that intellectual reflection on creation leads to faith. The verse encourages believers to contemplate the countless ways Allah has arranged the universe for their benefit and to respond with gratitude and proper stewardship.
