Surah Al-Ma'arij, Verse 19-21
إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا إِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ جَزُوعًا وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًا
"Indeed, man was created anxious: When evil touches him, impatient; and when good touches him, withholding."

یقیناً انسان گھبراہٹ میں پیدا کیا گیا ہے۔ جب اسے کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو گھبرا جاتا ہے، اور جب اسے بھلائی ملتی ہے تو روک رکھنے والا بن جاتا ہے۔
Explanation
The Qur’an diagnoses human impulsiveness—panic in hardship and stinginess in ease—and elsewhere prescribes prayer, charity, and patience as remedies.
