Surah Maryam, Verse 23-24
فَأَجَاءَهَا الْمَخَاضُ إِلَىٰ جِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ قَالَتْ يَا لَيْتَنِي مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَٰذَا وَكُنتُ نَسْيًا مَّنسِيًّا فَنَادَاهَا مِن تَحْتِهَا أَلَّا تَحْزَنِي قَدْ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيًّا
"So the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in complete oblivion." But he called her from below her, "Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream.""

پھر پیٹ کے درد نے اسے کھجور کے درخت کے تنے کی طرف کر دیا۔ وہ کہنے لگی: کاش میں اس سے پہلے مر گئی ہوتی اور بالکل بھول دی جاتی۔ تو اس نے اس کے نیچے سے آواز دی: غمگین نہ ہو، تمہارے رب نے تمہارے نیچے ایک نہر بہا دی۔
