اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

Known as Ayatul Kursi (The Verse of the Throne), this is one of the most powerful and revered verses in the Quran. It presents a majestic description of Allah's attributes, emphasizing His uniqueness, self-subsistence, and sovereignty. It describes Allah as ever-vigilant, neither affected by drowsiness nor sleep, in contrast to all created beings who require rest. The verse affirms Allah's complete ownership of everything in creation, His control over intercession, His perfect knowledge of past and future, and the limited nature of human knowledge compared to His. The mention of His Kursi (often translated as Throne or Footstool) extending over the heavens and earth symbolizes His supreme authority and power.
