Surah Al-Talaq, Ayah 2-3

And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent.
Surah Al-Talaq Verse 2-3

Explanation

These powerful verses promise three things to those who fear Allah (have taqwa): a way out of difficulties, provision from unexpected sources, and Allah's sufficiency for all their needs. "Fearing Allah" means being conscious of Him, obeying His commands, and avoiding His prohibitions. The "way out" (makhraj) refers to solutions to problems that seemed impossible to solve. Provision from unexpected sources shows Allah's unlimited ability to provide through means we never imagined. The promise that "Allah is sufficient" means that those who truly rely on Allah need nothing else - He will handle all their affairs. The verse concludes that Allah always accomplishes His purpose and has set proper measures for everything. This teaches that God-consciousness brings divine assistance in solving problems, that Allah's provision can come through unexpected channels, that complete trust in Allah brings peace and sufficiency, and that Allah's plans always succeed according to His perfect timing and wisdom.

Context

These verses appear in Surah Al-Talaq (Divorce), providing comfort and guidance during difficult times, promising that those who maintain taqwa will receive Allah's help and provision.
